Business Analysis Essential Library

There are those that believe I have an obsession with Business Analysis, while I tend to think of it more as a passion.  I recently had the opportunity to vacation in the Caribbean and read some incredible books on the subject of Business Analysis (in my defense, I did my reading on the plane and not on the beach).

The books in question were written by Kathleen (Kitty) Hass who is the Project Management and Business Analysis practice leader at Management Concepts.  She is also a Director at Large in the IIBA™ and was a significant contributor to the BABOK® especially the Enterprise Analysis section.

The series is entitled "Business Analysis Essential Library" and is comprised of six books.  The book that I focused on during the trip was From Analyst to Leader:  Elevating the Role of the Business Analyst as I've been working at creating a Centre of Excellence and Kitty had some great points regarding this endeavour.  The book also touched on leadership roles within a project and how the BA could be a much more important player within any project.

I bought my collection (I have all six books now) through Amazon.com although you can order them directly from Management Concepts here.  Each book in the series is roughly 150 pages and well worth the $24 price tag.
