Calgary IIBA® Chapter Certification Information Session

The Calgary IIBA® Chapter is hosting a free information session on the IIBA® certification and the BABOK® Study Group program. At this information session you will be presented with information on:

• The Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) designation and the new Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA™) designation, including the requirements to sit for the exams, cost and resources for preparation.
• The Calgary IIBA® Chapter's BABOK® Study group program. The program is entering its third year and has been shown to be of value to many people both as a preparation for certification and as a forum to bring together people from different industries, backgrounds and levels of experience to share knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of the concepts in the BABOK®. Whether or not you pursue certification, participation in a BABOK® study group is a rich experience.

The speaker is Frances Pender, the Chapter's VP Professional Development, who obtained the CBAP® designation in 2009. Frances will be happy to share her own personal journey towards certification and to answer any questions you may have. You will also have an opportunity at this event to sign-up for the next BABOK® study group, which will be starting up very soon.
