Professional Development - Volunteer Coordinator (3 positions)The following three (3) streams or programs under the Professional Development portfolio require a Volunteer Coordinator. You can define your level of involvement and help shape this role. - Mentorship program
- BABOK® Study Group program
- Round Tables and Panel Discussions program
For each of these streams, the Volunteer Coordinator will: - Collect applications/registrations from participants.
- For the Mentorship stream, match protégées with mentors.
- Ensure any artifacts resulting from the event or study group are collected and provide to VP for retention and/or uploading to the web site.
- For the BABOK® Study Group program, issue Certificates of Completion (VP will provide template) and ensure participants’ course hours, names and contact information are recorded. Provide to VP for retention.
- Collect all artifacts produced by the study group or event such as knowledge sharing outcomes, practice exam questions, presentations, lessons learned. Provide these to the VP for retention and/or sharing.
- Assist with the design of the event/program, including assisting with sourcing SMEs and speakers for the Panel Discussions stream and with sourcing Moderators/Facilitators.
- Track progress of the program and report status to the VP Professional Development once a month (via email, coffee chat, etc.).
- Assist the VP Professional Development in providing orientation to Facilitators/Moderators on expected outcomes, program design, etc.
- Suggest opportunities for improvement (OFI), lessons learned.
- Assist the VP Professional Development to present information about the stream at IIBA® events (optional).
- Write announcements about upcoming events for the web site and newsletter (optional).
- Escalate any issues to the VP Professional Development.
